Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone

The game Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone begins with the player who gets into a modern museum with a mysterious art. At this time, we find ourselves in a few centuries into the past. Princess tells us that the witch is sowing chaos in their field. All her subjects were transformed into the shadows. You must restore the silhouette of citizens to life typically by providing them with an object they cherish and banish the sorceress.

Players move in various locations from the city, and then to the castle and surrounding grounds. Our goal is to find key objects of inventory and use them to launch dozens of puzzle content, such as sorting through the keys to unlock the door assembly of the fragments shattered stained glass panel, board or organization for the raft to a tree holes coincided with the nails.

These puzzles make sense, but can be extremely difficult. Fortunately, the skip button from the first game returns: the struggle for more than a couple of minutes, and you can walk through the puzzle, though, unfortunately, without showing solutions. Remember also that the total playing time on the merits of your accounts will continue to suffer 30 minutes of penalty for each missed riddle.

The second half of the game consists of scenes of hidden objects. Like its predecessor, the objects for which we hunt logical, given the time and place. We will search for pens, keys, chess and other related objects and locate them in places that can be expected on shelves, hung on hooks, and drawers.

Graphic design is great. The scenes are full of dark atmosphere, and some of the almost photorealistic images. Moody music and sound effects help to make a good match.

To crown it all, there is a nice bonus of a little adventure, which opens as soon as you finish the main story.

I can say with certainty, Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone is one of the best hidden object games I played. Great production values, challenging tasks, and a healthy duration add up to terrific value. This is a good game for fans of puzzles, adventures, and hidden object hunts.
